You purchase a cheap tee thru my affliate url--you get cool shirt for cheap--and I get a tiny bit o money to use toward a future purchase...which'd be awesome because I seriously have 7 tshirts to my name. 7 shirts man.

Oh, definitely. I think it also really stands out because throughout the game you're sort of pushed to accomplish things that initially seem impossible but you always progress in the end, but in the last scene, after all that, it actually IS futile.
Argh, yeah, the last boss can take forever - I think I've actually gotten thrown off of it (and somehow didn't die instantly) one of the times I was fighting it. The atmosphere is great but it's not really one of my favorite fights in the game - the flying ones are the BEST, I think it was during the fifth battle that it really hit me that SotC was pretty much the greatest game I played -, and I think the smaller colossi (?) gave me more trouble.
Ah, cool! I wasn't sure if it was a weird camera angle or something, but you're probably right that it was intentional.
Yeah, I really just don't see it working as a film. I think Hollywood people look at it and think "fantasy" landscapes + epic battles!!! = another Lord of the Rings, when that's really not the case. I mean, they'd presumably have to elaborate on the plot and it'd be really lame, IMO, if they turned it into a standard love story-ish thing; the way the story isn't spelled out is what makes it special.
Haha, that was pretty much my reaction, too. I think Golden Sun was the first RPG I ever played (...actually, wait, no I guess Pokemon Blue was, haha). Isaac or someone better be playable in the next Super Smash Bros, the assist trophy was such a tease. Yeah, the Ico and SotC remakes are really good news, too - plus, presumably it'll be the Japanese/European version of Ico and have pretty boxart unlike the current NA release. I don't think I can pass up on the OoT remake, either (though the remade Well and Shadow Temple will probably traumatize me).
I wonder if for the future Zelda games (or just Skyward Sword in particular) there'll be voice acting for the NPCs? I think some people say it makes the series seem behind the times or something, but I actually find it kind of endearing that it's just text and select sounds/phrases (plus did anyone REALLY want full voice acting for Tingle?). But, of course, most importantly in the OoT remake will Navi still be all HEY LISTEN every ten minutes?
